Last weekend I visited Anglesey Abbey (now in the possession of the National Trust) just north of Cambridge with its beautiful grounds and was surprised to find that the following weekend the annual âDazzling Dahliasâ event was to take place. The dahlia gardens were both in splendid bloom and boasted a real riot of colour on such a grey day. I for one, am glad of their revival.
